Another mystery...

This gorgeous thing is a small tree, evergreen, blooming very early spring. I have two of them in my yard and have worked hard to bring them to a better state of health than I found them. Anyone know what this is?

How about Kalmia latifolia or Mountain Laurel?

ardesia, you nailed it first try. I had looked at other pics said to be Mountain Laurel and they did not match. But googling Kalmia latifolia brought up lots of pics.
