3 years ago, I planted my 2 yearly Walmart red lion amaryllis in my garden. Previously, I had no idea what to do with these after they bloomed at Christmas. Well, since then, I've gotten more & more into amaryllis. Today, I had to dig up & replant the original 2 bulbs I planted. I want that spot for some cybisters I'm planning on getting this fall. Well, those 2 bulbs have multiplied to 19!! The largest 2 are 13" around. Now I just have to find a nice sunny place to plant these.
