Found this little worm/caterpillar on a Zinnia this morning.
Anyone recognize it? And if so, is it something I need to remove?
Thanks!
Deb
On a Zinnia. Friend or Foe?
I found one too yesterday. It was all covered up with the pollen.
It looks liek a cabbage looper ... but nothing was chewed up.
He was gone the day after I posted this and I didn't find him or others anywhere on the plant. Although that particular blossom looked a bit worse for wear, I saw no damage otherwise. Perhaps he became a snack for a bird.
Glad to know what it was, though.
Thanks, drthor.
