This little Daphne had beautiful bushy tops on the stalks, then this morning they were gone, cut clean off, and the tops were totally GONE!
Land tortoise? Deer?
What would cut them cleanly like this and then run off with (or eat) the evidence?
Help! I only have one Daphne left, and I was so looking forward to that wonderful smell this winter.
I made a photo. Will upload as soon as I figure it out. "Browse" does not appear below the post.

What sheered off the tops of my Winter Daphne?
Sounds like deer.
Do deer cut as cleanly as a knife?
