Mushroom ID please Growing on Oak Stump

I found this growing in the shade of Jerusalem Artichoke growing in my compost pile. Anyone know what it is and if I can eat it?

Maybe a Gomphus or Pleurotis.

Can you show the underside of the fungus. Can the fungus be separated into single pieces, with a stipe attached?

I will do that first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks for the quick answer! (I hoping it is some kind of hen-of-the-woods.)
