I bought an Allamanda (Allamanda schottii) yesterday thinking it was hardy here. Apparently it isn't.
Anyone else growing this? I know it can be grown from seed, so I can grow more next year if this one dies, but still......

Forgot to add that I have mine in a pot and in fall I just cut it back to about 3 inches and keep it in the greenhouse .. have done this for going on 4 years and every year it comes back bigger and better.

X - great to hear. That was it won't take up so much room in the GH. Reducing the guilt factor in having yet another non-hardy plant...!
