Crazy "Flame Thrower"

I have another like this, too: The first two blooms are quite wacky, but the third (seen out of focus below) is symmetrical and even. I'm liking both!

yeah --- that same thing happened to mine on the later blooms. The first handful where great though.

I had this same problem. I think it's caused by mites. I treated mine with Bayer systemic granules and the later blooms looked normal after that.
