Hi,
I saw this at catamaran resort in sandiego. No name tag. No flowers or fruit that I can see. thanks in advance
can some one ID this tree from CA please
(looking at the leaves)........plumeria?
It's just that I haven't seen any quite that tall before. I understand, though, that they can grow up to 20 ft.
....or you can try comparing it to this one...

Looks like an Oleander bush to me. I used to live in Orange County just north of San Diego and we had these bushes in our back yard. They do have a pretty red bloom in the summer. The leaves are poison if ingested so you have to be careful growing these around small children or any pets that may eat the leaves!
Hi K4CLE,
it is not oleander since I also have several varieties of them here in AZ.
I had an 8' plumeria and I don't beleive this is one.
Might be worth posting in the ID forum, someone there may recognize it. There are a couple people there who are really good with tropicals but they may not follow this forum. I agree it's not an oleander, could be Plumeria but I'm sure there are other possibilities too.
LOL ecrane3. I did post it on the ID forum and they suggested this forum :). I don't think it is plumeria since they were all blooming during that time period but this was not.
