This is the first time that I put several in a container and they are looking good so far. I would like to see what others have done in containers, so please post pictures. Thanks!
Coleus Containers
Martha, that's a beauty!
Thanks! Your are beautiful also, and thanks for sharing them.
Stunning arrangements, containers and photos, Zoar! Beautiful.
Thanks!
The Trailing Rose Queen is stunning! Where did you find one?
I received cuttings from another DG member.
I think your combo looks great!
Ray Rogers at Atlock Farms grows the most gorgeous coleus balls- hanging and in containers. Alot of strategic pinching involved.
I made an accidental one with "Indian Summer"- it's so self-branching it needed only minimal pinching all summer. I keep trying with "Hot embers" but that's always a losing battle... which is why I probably keep trying to fight it LOL.

What company has a catalog on the different coleus and caladiums? I've never grown neither but they sure are becoming very popular.
Caladiums: watch for the January DG Classified ad by Bill. He's the best!

They are online and open for the 2011 season!
Coleus: Rosy Dawn - watch for their ad also, right here on DG.

Yes , can't wait for the co-op !
I took 21 cutting a few weeks ago from the plants that were starting to fail. Last night was cold for us here in zone 10a so I just took 24 more cuttings. I just got off the RD site and I have 9 on my 2011 wish list. These are great plants !
You simply canNOT go wrong with Bill! He's the best! Better quality than all the rest too!
A really nice match for coleus in the garden are caladiums and they, like coleus, have sun tolerant varieties as well as those for shade.
Bill, of Caldiumbulbs4less, just posted his DG Classified Ad today - well worth a look (or two or three).
