I find such diverse pictures that I don't know what to expect. Some look like small hollyhocks. Some look like cascading petunias. Some are solid with blooms, and some show more leaves than flowers. Descriptions range from 18" mounds to 5' x 5' monsters.
Have you grown this?
What do I believe??
Is is the cultivar "Silver Cup" significantly different from others? I wanted at least a pink and a white -- those seem to be the only colors.
I'm planning to plant them in front of my Confederate Roses, which don't have much going on for the first few feet.
Can you recommend a good seed source?
The Truth About Lavatera trimestris - Rose Mallow?
Most are pink. Silver Cup is a softer shade of pink than the others, such as Ruby Regis. Mont Blanc is white.
Most I have grown are about 3 to 4 feet tall.
