So it seems that I have planted a ton of Maidenhairs in my garden only to find out that they are in the wrong growing zone (thank you, local nursery....). They are thriving and look gorgeous, but I can't bear to think they are doomed to an annual status! Does anyone have experience wintering ferns in a zone 5b garden or will I need to dig them all up? Help, please!!

I think some varieties of Maidenhair are hardy in Z5- what type do you have?
Northern maidenhair, Adiantum pedatum is hardy to Z3.
