Dining in Toronto

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

Help Please.

My DD and I are meeting in Toronto the end of September and would like a couple of recommendations for upscale dining. I believe that we will be staying at the Park Hyatt and will have no car. She will be coming from Chicago and I from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We will be celebrating my 70th birthday. YUK! How that happened so fast I don't know.

Anyway, I would love some suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Hap

PS We have been to your wonderful city many times long ago when we used to live in Rochester, NY.

If you don't have any fear of heights, may I suggest dining in the revolving restaurant on top of the CN Tower? www.cntower.ca

70 is not bad------I just celebrated my 70th on the weekend.
As I see it : Everything is a bonus from here on in.

June, Thanks. Looks very interesting. Wonder if it's any good.

CL, you're right.

I think it'd be worth checking it out... even for a cheeseburger! LOL!!

What publication has the best reviews?

I usually use a combination of Urbanspoon and Restrantica for ratings and reviews. The Park Hyatt is in the Yorkville area of Toronto, so I'd suggest entering it as the city.

Urbanspoon

Restrantica

Hope that helps, and that your 70th birthday celebration is top notch.

Thanks, Sandy, it will be but not in Toronto. DERN!!

One of my boys can't make it so it's all down the tubes. Will be going to see my DD for a few days about then and will see my boys in about another week.
