This was a beautiful plant just two weeks ago; now it's a mess. The leaves are slowly curling up and dropping, then the whole plant is falling over mid-stalk after a few days - see picture # 2.
What is happening with my coleus? Help!
I'm no expert, but was just reading about leaf-curl on pepper plants and it seems that too much fertilizer (nitrogen) is sometimes a culprit. Could that be it?
Perhaps, I didn't fertilize the plants other than mixing some Miracle-Gro potting soil in when I originally planted them, maybe it was too much for them. Since I posted this, I've had to remove all the plants from the pot. They all fell over and it seemed like some kind of rot took over. I guess it was a fungus of some sort. I have others in another pot that are quite happy and thriving.
