What are organic options to control the pulm curculio other than Surround?

No personal experience, but from what I remember from my grandmother's yard, a little bit by shaking them off. (Put a sheet of plastic or such underneath.) And keep a close check on collecting the egg- or larva- infected fruit. Burn or otherwise thoroughly dispose of the insects.
It's not really control, but supposedly good pruning helps. I think it's that a more airy tree is less conducive? They like moisture or heavy humidity, I think.
