My son is getting married September 18 and the bride wants red flowers, but not roses. Other than a few lillies, carnations and dahalias, I can't really think of red flowers. (and I was a florist for 10 years!) Anybody have suggestions? There is sort of a Scottish theme to the wedding. (The groom is wearing a formal Kilt with Converse sneekers) I was thinking of having some dried wheat and herbs in the bouquet with heather and artimesia, but I'm still looking for red and ivory other than roses.

This is a link about red wedding flowers. Hope it helps. How lucky your son is that you're doing the flowers for the wedding. Sounds like it will be a great event in your family. Share pics with us if you will.
Gerbera daisies. Lilies. Red callas and celosia are very pricey.
I think I am going with sunflowers, roses, hypericum berries and stattice. She can just deal. I'm also doing all the food and time and money are important. (at least to ME)
