Shockwave Denim blue???

Calgary, Canada

I had seeded these and they are now flowering? in a purple color?
I don't think I mislabelled them. And also the flowers are smaller than other wave petunias?
Did anyone else try these? And how did they turn out?

HI Calgary! Did you forget to post a photo of these or is it a random question.

I'll post a picture when the rain stops.
Gardening in mud is not exactly fun.

Shockwaves are smaller than the waves, and yes the flowers do sometimes (most times)
look more purple.

Caroline,

Give them time....once we get some sunshine. You will see that there will be different shades. As the blooms mature, they lighten in colour and the newly opened blooms will be the dark petunia blue colour, which to our eyes may look dark purple. In photos it does look dark blue.

If you are looking for a multi shade wave bloom, try the new Easywave Plum Pudding. That may be what you are after. I have a few extra, so maybe stop.

Here's the Blue Wave (much bigger flower) Looks like the cloudy rain plays tricks with the camera. This really looks purple and a bit glowy today in the picture.

Here's Opera Supreme Lilac Ice

Oops, got some pots mixed up. This may be Silver Tidal Wave. Lilac Ice looks the same with a smaller flower.
