How would I go about storing Cannas?

Why are you wanting to store them? In your area I would think they are safe in the ground year round. Up here we dig them after the frost and then store them over the winter.
I am going to dig them up, because the rest of the bed needs to be raised.

get some nice peat moss...but it in a nice clean container and just stick em on in...i store them like that even in a zone 4......also do not worry about "breaking" them as you remove them...they just need a taste of the rhizome to begin life all over again..:)

Do you know if Italian Arum can be stored like that?
