Not a JM related post, but any how...
The big boxes are starting to liquidate their excess trees. I was in Lowes with my father, getting some paint for his tomato cages, and saw a sign Fruit trees were 25% off, Flowering trees were 75% off. (I doubt they have much in the way of JM's or if they are on sale...probably not)
The selection is not great. I got an 8 foot 'Forrest Pansy' Redbud, a tree I've been wanting for some time, for $12.50!!! I can't even buy a perennial at my favorite nursery for $12.50!
So if your a bargain hunter, check your local big box store, you never know.
