I decided to plant a border of alyssum and ageratum (annuals) around my sun-filled perennial garden. Many of the ageratum are wilting, and some of the leaves are getting brownish and "crumbly". Some of the flowers are turning brown and lifeless. It is a full sun area, rich soil and plenty of water. I've had this happen in the past with ageratum, any ideas?
