Thank you very much to all for the great tips for Kauai. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to returning soon. Waimea Canyon was spectacular, hundreds of plumeria trees in all the cool colors, and even 100 year old mango and champaca trees. Even saw a $8.99 gallon of milk! Highly recommended!!

LOL, we saw some of that milk too. The food prices were something else but the up side was that the cost of eating in restaurants was reasonable by comparison. Last May, when I was there, I noticed a lot of sick plummies and the hotel horticulturist told me an insect was vectoring a disease which was spreading all over Kauai. It sounds like things are looking better this year.
