designing an outbuilding for a Studio/garden shed

I am in the process of designing an outbuilding that will serve as both a studio for glass fusing and storage of gardening paraphernalia. Can anyone give me suggestions on what to include? Dimensions? Any of those insights that occur that make you say, "If I could do it over again, I would change......"?
