Seemed like a good idea

Odenton, MD(Zone 7b)

Sunday I went to my local Joanns and purchased a crib size June Taylor fusible batt. Both sides are fusible, so you layer all three parts, top, batt, backing, and then use a steam iron to fuse it all together. Ended up being so stiff it is a battle to machine quilt it. It doesn't want to roll up or scrunch up, very frustrating. I plan to go back to the spray baste from here on out. I'm just glad it wasn't a larger quilt.
Anyone else try this type batting before?
