Hello! I've attached a pic of some badly chewed up Salvia. Have not seen any bugs on the plants so am thinking it might be slugs? Another clue is I have seen what looks to be dried slime on some of the leaves. I'd like to get some input from others before launching an attack though. So what do you think - yes or no???

Holes plus slime trails does generally indicate slugs/snails, so I think that's a safe bet.
Iron phosphate is a bait for them which breaks down to nourish the plant. Safe for dogs, etc too. Some brand names are Sluggo, Escar-go...
