This little tiny beauty appeared in my outdoor Amaryllis bed. I have never seen it before, don't remember planting it, and have no idea what it is. I'm guessing an African from the size. Did the Amaryllis fairy plant it one night. Any ideas. I didn't adjust the color, its a true yellow. It has a trumpet form.
help me ID this
This looks like a species Hippeastrum - Parodii , it's not African, it's from Argentina and Bolivia, Amaryllis are from Africa which are actually a completely different genus than Hippeastrum which are what all of your Dutch Hybrid "Amaryllis" are.

It sure does look like it. I'm looking forward to it blooming next year. Thanks
It really does, and if it is you have a prize on your hands! Parodii are considered pretty rare!
Perhaps it can be Hippeastrum solandriflorum 'Germa'?
Looking back in DG's plant files and on the website of Plantscope, my mystery bulb cetainly could be Germa.
I think Germa is also a possibility, germa is a hybrid involving Parodii and a few other specie Hippeastrum.
Either way, it's beautiful :)
