You're welcome, pelle.

hugger, great find. Right place at the right time. Were you just walling around, or did the parent lead you to the nest?
Hack
well ,I knew the nest was there I was keeping an eye on it yesterday we were taking a walk about ,I noticed fuzz heads, ran and got the camera, thank god for zoom !!! and that we took a stroll after we had spent the whole day digging. Thanks everyone.
I think 3,she had 4 but 1 egg got blew out or something,we had heavy rain and winds.I got very lucky on this shot.
Looks like four babies there to me.
That is so cute hugger!
Great pictures on previous thread as well as this one.
Thanks to everyone on the camera advice.
Great start Hack! Now I have to back and look at the last thread.....
Thank you Hack for the new thread. In an ideal world, we shouldn't get 90'ish temp. F. here in the spring. But we do get them this weekend. Either we going to be in the bright HOT sunny place, or cool and shady. I believe the female Cardinal has chosen the latter.
Hack, I love that shot of the coming to landing Mockingbird. hg, how exciting that's to find the Robins nest and babies. Nan, I'm far behind too with so much gardening chores to get done. gardenpom, those 'paraketes' are so beautiful and look like they are having a party with the sunflower's seeds!
Wonderful photos on that last thread everyone!
Hack, thank you for starting the new thread with so many pretty birds.
Hugger, congratulations on the nestlings! They're adorable.
Pelle, your fluffy wren is beautiful!
I think this is a House Finch, but I'm always confusing them with the Purple Finches.
Been out of state for awhile and not online much. Came home and the Lazuli Buntings are gone. The Painted is still visiting the finch feeder several times daily. The young bluebirds are out back quite a bit now. Had a Cooper's Hawk sitting on the BB box today, a real danger for dumb young birds. Gave him a surprise with a yellow paint ball from my wrist rocket. If someone reports a yellow-breasted Cooper's Hawk, disregard the sighting. Works on the resident geese who like to graze in my back yard, too. Doesn't physically hurt them, but they don't like it.
Had a couple of unusual visitors on the hill behind the house. Pic of one.
Great pics all !
Duc, love the Oriole and the beautiful California Quail!
Nanny, Sweet one of the Northern Cardinal!
Red, the juvenile Blues are adorable!
