Google Ipomoea horsfalliae, Prince's Vine, Seed sales.

You gets lots of responses, such as this.

I've also been looking for this vine - for YEARS - it's never been available, that I can find. If you find a source for plants or seeds, please post and tell us where!

aloha tropicals usually carries them. Sometimes gardino as well.

Aloha,

I have this vine, but I have never seen seeds on mine, or any of the Prince Kuhio vines around here, nor do I see them for sale. I can send plants if someone can tell me how to root them - or cuttings if anyone wants to try to root them for themselves...

They grow huge here and are a white fly magnet - I am always cutting the darned thing off the telephone wires, but they are really pretty in full bloom.

I would love some roots. After some research, it seems cuttings do not root easily. One source said one needs to divide the roots, with some stems attached, in order to get new plants. Dmail me and we can discuss how to best do a trade.

Aloha Kay,

I don't think it is possible to dig out a root - the root is between a fence and a concrete walk way...This is what it looks like.
