This was so much fun last year and i got such a nice assortment. Just love that I received Quilting Bee, and that it made it through our horrible New York winter. Please count me in. My lovely assortment from last year's swap
Mittsy.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Wow! What a nice variety....I want them all!

Spooner, WI

Mittsy, that photo had me drooling! I got Quilting Bee in a trade last year, and it was immediately a favorite.

I was reading the thread about giants, and I'm thinking I have about 2 more years before the front garden needs to be completely re-arranged, or it will be one mass of hostas! Not that it would be a bad thing! But that gives me a bit longer to test anti-deer methods. I'm considering planting mints & thyme right under the giants. Since they come up before my hostas, maybe their presence would keep the deer away from the tender shoots. And since they would be in their own little spot under the oaks, I don't really need to worry about the herbs taking over (blacktop on one side & gravel roads & driveways on the other 3).

mao

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

Joycet: This is only my third year as a hosta-addict (I started collecting in 2007). My gardens look better this year than last, and I spent a big part of the spring moving stuff around. There is still so much to move around and just not enough time. Don't be impressed by the list - my gardens are nowhere as beautiful as some of the folks that post on this site. Maybe in time.....

"The Wu" (as my husband calls her) was pitiful for the first two years - one lone leaf. This year, however it has probably tripled in eyes and is finally starting to look like it might be a giant. I have it in too shady a spot I think, but I don't have anywhere else to put it where it will be in back of other hostas. Now that all my spring work is about done, I am thinking about digging a new bed and moving it there....maybe.

Lakeland / Memphis, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm in. This will be my first official swap to participate in.
For a list of my "have's" - please click on my name and go to my journal. I love them all, so any that I do not have would be fine for me - except mini's. Seems the voles like them the best in my yard.
Bonnie :-)

Joyce...you don't have to buy anything....just divide from your yard!

Not able to participate this year since it's only my first year growing hostas and I don't have any big enough to share (yet!), but hoping I'll be able to participate in next year's swap!

Lakeland / Memphis, TN(Zone 7a)

I am sooo ready to get my name of my secret swap person. It is getting really hot here.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

We went from 50 to 90 in 2 days, course we are suppose to cool o in the 80's next week.
n2birds, if we mail to a warmer zone is there a better way to send to you all?
In the winter I received plants that were put in insulated wrap to keep warm would that help for cool?

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

Weeding: WOW. And I thought I was out of control! That list is amazing. How is your revolution doing? Mine is just pitiful. I had high hopes for it this year - but it's still just a tiny pipsqueak. You have so many with names I don't recognize. Which ones are your favorites?

I am with you all about the heat. i wish the cut off for this swap was this week so I could get these things in the mail. We are going to be in the 90's tomorrow. Hopefully it will get cooler again, though.... I plan to just ensure that my paper towels are really moist when i send. I don't think you can do much more than that....Hostas are pretty forgiving.....
