Being gardeners in this forum I thought some might be interested - about the kings gardener in the 1600 and his travels all over the world in search of new plants and what's going on in his life. There is a follow on called Virgin Earth and it is the continuation of his son and grandson (family) and they were two of the best books I have read in such a long time. I didn't even want to finish the second one because there is not a third. Give them a try - they are truly a joy!!
