Charity for crocheted blankets

Does anyone know of a charity that would like crocheted afghans (mostly granny patterns) - fairly heavy weight as made of some old RedHeart worsted, but very suitable for on top of other covers to add warmth? These are about the size of a laprobe or twin bed. I am trying to use some stashes of yarn from past years. I thought perhaps someone would know of a charity perhaps for some homeless people who need warm blankets and maybe also warm neck scarfs (made from a soft yarn). Any suggestions?
