Italian Heather

I just received one of these plants as a gift and it will have to be treated as an annual in my zone. Has anyone had experience with this plant in a container? If so, what are the light requirements?

I have no idea but it's pretty!

erica ventricosa? as most of them: acid, sharply-draining soil, full sun.
Looks like it's hardy to 30°, so it's not really frost tolerant. I would bring it in for the winter, unless you have a greenhouse.
