Where do you find snow in late April in the US?

San Diego, CA(Zone 10b)

Why, in San Diego County, of course! On the way to Julian (4/25).

Eeeeeek!!! I didn't see this until now. I thought we had it bad with snow that last couple of days, but you have it worse. How did the plants hold out?

Well, this is up in the mountains (hence "County"). We never see snow in the city.

LOL That's crazy! Here's a contrast to think about: I remember once on Christmas Day walking out on a pier with shorts and a tank top on in 85* weather in San Diego.

When I was very small, about 1000 years ago, it snowed on L.A. I want to walk on a pier in 80º weather!

Xmas in San Diego:

It was somewhere around the Embarcadero. Walking distance to those piers...
