I just love elephants! When looking for internet pictures of them I saw a pretty felt elephant in someones blog or web album (can't remember where because it was some time ago.
I liked it so much that I decided to try making a similar one myself.
After a few false starts and adjustments and alterations to my pattern this is what I ended up with.
I am quite pleased with the finished item.
Just wanted to show him off. He stands about 4 inches tall and is approx 4 inches long.
