Pileated Woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus)
Wonderful shot stelmore!!!
There is a family living in the woods just in front of our property. This is a low area with a wetlands. The woodpeckers come over weekly to check out the bird and squirrel feeders. The have a very unique call and don't seem to be afraid of the dogs or cats.
