the genie

a baptist minister was walking down a deserted beach when he happened to notice an object on the shoreline. He walked over to it and picked it up. It was an antique persian lamp. Looking around and seeing no one he couldn't resist rubbing it. As luck would have it a genie appeared and told him he could have one wish for anything he wanted. The minister thought about it for a moment and then said he wanted a bridge built across the atlantic ocean from New York City , over to the holy land ,so people who couldn't aford to fly could just drive over there. Well, the genie about had a stroke. He furiously explained how deep the ocean was and how many thousands of support pylons he would have to construct and he carried on so that the minister finally said he would think of something else. After a moments thought he decided he wanted the genie to make all the preachers in the world not care about having huge houses or fancy cars, they would only care about the needs of their individual flock. The genie looked at the minister and ask, do you want that bridge 2 laned or 4 laned.
