I love your area. Such lovely old estate type homes. I drive from Fenton to Hamtramck every day and often go out to the east side off I-94.
You are a very close neighbor and i hope we meet here.

Hello everyone and thanks for the welcome. I haven' t been on here much since I'm busy planting a large new garden (much fun, but also much work).

I am seeing a big increase in, well, everything, in my yard. I suppose it's due to the mild winter, reasonable snow cover and a couple of thaws. Every plant is HUGE this year. I have berries on by hollys (first time), lots of flowers on my wisteria (first time), and a general "big and bountiful" effect going on all over. Even the waterlilies in my tiny pond are bigger.

What have all of you been seeing this spring that's different from the usual ?
