Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura)
I like that shot, PotEmUp. It looks a bit worried.
That is a great shot. We have them in the sky around here in Ladysmith. But I have never seen them close up.
I was fortunate to have a whole flock doing their warming up on my roof. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1087682/ After they left, I noticed them resting in a large tree nearby, being buzzed by a crow. They must have gotten too close to the crows nest.
