PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE don't get offended if I missed your birthday... I am sure there are quite a few missing.. but I will add them as I go along or if you let me know

That's a great idea, Allison! Thanks for thinking of it. I need one of those for my personal stuff. I'm always forgetting things. Do they send reminders to your email?
Karen
yes... and you can add friends & families calendars to your own.. or just pick & choose the dates from the DG one or any shared calendar

^_^
Way to go , Allison. Very thoughtful!!!

Good idea, Allison.
Cool!
rubbing eyes again.... hi Seandor... where you been?
Overwhelmed! I am the Director for a new major in Sustainability and every waking moment has been trying to launch this for the fall.
Great idea, Allison
Sounds challenging, Michaela
It has been a bit of a challenge - but it is also pretty exciting. The program gives students a strong background in sustainability (including sustainable environments, economy, community, etc.), then the students selects a concentration from the following: public administration, communication (public relations), management and marketing, or international development. The nine new courses were developed that focus on "studio-learning" - basically limited lectures and more "hands-on" learning, more real projects, less term papers. The major is interdisciplinary, with courses taught by engineers, natural scientists, economists, and moi (environmental sociologist). It is intended for students passionate about the environment but don't want to be engineers or scientists, but would rather be the interface betweent the engineers and scientists, and the general public.
my apologies for being off topic - but I am very pleased with this new program!
wow does that sound intense... but sounds like it's interesting.. good for you!!!
and we don't worry about hijacking... I hijacked my own thread... it's all good
:)
