Red Lion blooming today

I just love this Amaryllis:

These are all permanently planted in the ground - I have about 50 different Amaryllis bulbs in the ground - several are in bud.

Great looking amaryllis, I have some planted in the ground, some in pots.

Keep encouraging me to put my precious little ones in the ground. I am still a scaredy-cat! Not only that, but I simply haven't had the time.

Happy BD, Kay! Mine are all in the ground rxcept the newest ones & they go in as soon as blooming is over! They are beginning to pop up scapes, I probably have over a hundred! I am running out of room!

Lorine, you know - they spread by bubiles, so in the years to come you will have a thousand! I saw a clump that was simply amazing - the clump was at an old abandoned house, here in PCB, and it had to be as big as a bushel basket - so compact that I couldn't separate even one from the lot! I drive by it frequently and the clump is now in spike - I will try to take a picture of the whole thing in bloom - should be a show-stopper!
