Hello! Hoping somebody will be able to tell me what is wrong with my large Aucubas. These brown spots show up only on the top of the plants. Leaves tend to be yellower and leggier in general at the top than those at the midsection and base of plants. Plants are in a generally shady area so I don't think they are being scorched. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm thinking about giving them a hard prune back to the healthy growth.

What is wrong with my Aucuba?
i'd prune them back and feed them if you haven't already. if they're getting enough water and no direct sun, then maybe just a general clean up and feed is all you need.
If that was in Ca. , I would suggest salt burn. Our water is very bad here. Is it possible that you have over fed them? If they don't get enough water, to leach it out, the fertilizer salts can build up in the soil. Just another thought.
