So, I know that these reblooming roses do best when pruned early, etc. But how hard should it be pruned - like, to what height? I love my Morden Centennial, but last year when I left its starting canes at about 2.5 feet, it got much bigger - like 4.5 feet - than I want. I would like to keep it at about 3 feet if I can, which is what the rose article on DG says it should be capable of being. Should I cut the canes down to about a foot, perhaps? What's your experience been?
