Summerizing winter home in Georgia

My DH and I just purchased a home in Georgia. We plan to spend winters there in the future but it will remain empty in the summer. Does anyone here know if there are things we need to do so the house is OK when it is closed for the summer? I'm thinking about mold, mildew, things like that; that might be a problem with the humidity. I've been looking online and see plenty of info about winterizing a summer home but nothing on summerizing a winter home.
