strong cord

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

My husband has a couple of small terraces of raspberries. But he has had trouble finding a cord or twine that doesn't have to be replaced every season if not more often. Does anyone know of a really strong cord that will last?

what about thin coated wire like you get at lowes or something.

A nylon based cord would probably be your best bet.

I use vinyl covered wire - it is sold as clothesline. There are 2 kinds here - 1 is white, & it is more flexible, the other is green & is much stiffer. Samantha

the green might be best as the raspberries face the road. Thanks folks

I was thinking galvanized wire, we use 16 gauge to tie up our lady banks roses.
