WOW i didn't even know mine was the pic of the day...I do love these plants and they were found to be more tolerant that once believed, of different conditions. I even had one come back with a good mulching in my yard.

I used to collect plects. Even ones that were so ugly, I just had to have. LOL. Always a bad sign. At the time I had a friend who collected them too so that always pushes the need to have to a whole new level. LOL Then we had an unusually cold winter and most died and I got over my addiction.

Though I just bought a gorgeous lime green one at UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens so I did not have a complete cure. I am going to pot it up with a purple/silver one I have that was new cultivar a year or 2 ago.

That ones looks like one of my favorite ones. Here it gets to be a big pot! I just tossed the remains of a huge one from last year. It was recovering from winter too slowly.

I will take a pic of my lime green one later. I just love it. I am hoping to get it in a really cool pot I bought last year and just got my husband to drill holes in it. I am so beat though. We spent hours yesterday dragging big plants to the curb for a pick up to the dump today. I still have so much to get rid of. All my plants I have had in pots for years that just are too big to deal with anymore. I thought I would be sad but I am relieved to get rid of them and gain some space.
