Passionfruit green on vine getting covered in amber spots ,

Hi, Ive just joined today and have a problem with my passionfruit vine. It is going fantastic bearing lots of green fruit that is becoming covered in amber coloured spots. I will post a photo as soon as I can. Does anyone have any simple answer what it is or how to get rid of it.

I live on the east coast of Australia in Tweed Valley, Northern NSW.
