new to desktop with wireless internet, help please

We just bought an HP Pavilion p6230y Desktop (Windows 7).
I kinda thot it would be ready to go on our wireless internet because it came with this 802.11 a/b/g/n PCI Express x1 wireless card.
From what I understand, NOT! Apparently it needs more. Can anyone tell what else it needs to get on our wireless internet here?
