I finally received my much sought-after and long-coveted Aspenosorus ebenoides. Anyone grown this successfully? I really would appreciate any tips or suggestions. I have had Camptosorus rhizophyllus for almost a year now and plan to treat the Asplenosorus the same way. Unless I get more experienced advice.
Asplenosorus ebenoides
Hi, I just found this thread, and am curious as to how your new fern has done. I am just getting interested in growing different ferns here in our northern KY woods.
Hi. The Camptosorus is doing really well. I planted it last year about this time between some rocks I placed close together in a mix of soil and oystershell (turkey grit). About 1:1.
I kept the Asplenosorus in a pot in the house until a week or so ago and then planted it the same way as the Camptosorus.
I am really optimistic about them. I will try to post some pics soon.
Good luck with them.
The pic is a little fuzzy but it does show how I planted it.
He looks very happy there!
yikes...I'll get this pic and video stuff down eventually :-p
