Is this an invasive?

taken from a marshy area this afternoon March 19th.
Climbing , twisting on everything. what is it please? Marshy area near a bird sanctuary in SE Ct.

It looks like japanese honeysuckle, and if so, then yes, it is invasive. It roots wherever it touches the ground and also spreads by underground runners and seeds.

honeysuckle yes it can be invasive but none of mine are. i dont live in places like flordia or california where it can truely be invasive. mine dies back every year . you can always keep it trimmed.
