Happy birthday to a lovely and generous person. I hope you have your best dahlia year ever.

Thanks for all you've done for me and for others.

Thank you all! It was a great birthday with sunny skies, a new gigantor wheelbarrow I could live in if I had to, lovely dinner followed by the most beautiful first day of Spring in memory. Real T shirt weather finally. Many evil weeds were slain today, a couple snails and a few slugs, so it's been a really nice birthday weekend. Since I'm older and wiser now, I feel a nap coming on ;)
Thanks again,
Annie

A few years ago my husband got a birthday card from his fun niece that said:

It's your birthday - take two naps!

May all your tubers grow and bloom beautifully.

Happy Belated Birthday, Annie, and happy first day of spring. It was a beautiful spring day here too. A couple of snails....how do you manage only a couple? LoL I must have a zillion of them, but only slain a dozen.

And just for kicks, here is a photo of my freesias - they are always a harbinger of spring for me. It will be awhile before any dahlias will show up.
