I wish I still lived in Calif. American nettle goes wild near where I was living. Made getting to the river a stinging time.

That is a common plant in some areas but most people simply avoid them. I use to ride trial bikes and we would get into nettles along rivers, they are just nasty to ride through. Little tiny pins all stuck in you. On a lucky day you might get to inhale some. Oh the fun. Given the right conditions they grow like crazy into a dense 2M tall Field, without being covered completely you really can't walk through them. You can but you won't make it far.

Sorry doesn't help you but I'm not sure why you would even want seeds to those??

I wouldn't know either, but someone asked for them. It seems it has medicinal qualities much like the common stinging nettle in Europe.....
