This winter, I had a visitor who helped control some the pests on my plants. This little lady bug has made it to March in zone 5 and has been rather active. I'm curious about other peoples experiences with lady bugs spending the winter inside. Has anybody else seen a benefit from them during winter?
Winter Pest Control
I always have two or three in my basement where I grow plants under shoplights. I love them - they eat aphids, mealybugs, mites, thrips. Plants in your house attract those things. They keep the plants in my basement pretty pest free. I'm in love!
Donna
I started placing some of my greenhouse plants near it's nesting spot for maintenance. I’m in love too! :)
